Ketchup Organizing

Do you need a “ketchup” day?
Me too!

Today I opened the fridge to make breakfast, almond butter on pumpkin bread toast. When the almond butter jumped off the overcrowded shelf and crashed to the tile floor.

When I picked it up I noticed the base of the jar had a crack with what appeared to be a missing shard of glass.

I then spent the next ten minutes shooing Holly away as I searched for the missing shard. Only to realize the glass broke but stayed intact so the piece was never really missing.

The most annoying part was de-cluttering the fridge had been on my list for days, I’d just procrastinated.

That’s when I decided I needed a catch up day. A day to catch up on all the little tasks I’d been putting off- but that were stressing me out and wasting my time.

So I declared today ketchup day- named in honor of my fridge which was first on the list.

I set a timer for 18 minutes and less than seven minutes later I had cleared the shelves and generally reorganized the jars, bottles and food.

What do you need to ketchup on today?

I know there is at least one task you’ve been putting off but you know you’d be happier if you just did it already!

Maybe something like:
• Responding to or deleting emails
• Reading the newspaper from last week
• Cleaning out the bill pile
• An extra load of laundry
• Making two dinners and freezing one

Today is the day. Go for it. Ketchup!
