Solve Too Safe Syndrome Today

If you’ve ever tucked something important away in a safe place – a place so safe you promptly forgot where you put it- then you’ve experienced Too Safe Syndrome.

Recently I suffered from Too Safe Syndrome. My driver’s license was coming up for renewal and here in the state of New Jersey you need to show up with your forms and 6 points of documentation. Certain documents are assigned specific point values; you need to show up with documents equaling 6 points.

For a few weeks leading up to my renewal date I collected enough documentation to equal the required 6 points. Wanting to keep the paperwork safe until the appointment (yep, you guessed it) I tucked those documents away in a safe place. So safe I forgot where I put them!

Then I wasted an entire morning looking through my many safe hiding places.

That’s when I decided to implement a new safe storage plan. I now have exactly one place where I stash important stuff. Hopefully going forward this will avoid another episode of Too Safe Syndrome.
